Well, to get into the mix of things, I’m a 19 year old university student studying business management. Along side of that, I’m also in the Officers Training Corps, a unit run by the Territorial Army for university students to further develop their leadership skills, as well as to have some fun in adventurous training.

In my spare time I very much enjoy reading - favorite novels are Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles. And when inspired I’ll also be spending my time drawing. I used to do a bit of creative/RPG writing as well. Making music videos is also something I like doing. It’s nothing professional or so much with special effects with the transitions, but just something that I like doing. As much as I’d like to make more videos more often, my laptop is in a bit of a state and can’t handle much media very well at the moment. Currently, I have made 2 DBZ music videos (one of which is on youtube) and a few Interview with the Vampire music videos (which have not been uploaded onto the net).

Anything anyone would like to ask, you may freely do so.

Anne Rice’s TVC has been the only novel series I’ve followed. Other novels I’ve read are from a variety of different authors e.g. Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Identity, Wendy Alec’s The Fall of Lucifer, Bret Easton’s American Psycho…I’m currently working through a few classics such as Jane Austen.

Other favorite mangas are Angel Sanctuary and Priest (although, Priest is a manhwa – the Korean term for their comics). And as for anime - Death Note. Perhaps it’s not a great list, but it’s good.

Why thank you, I'm glad you think so ^_^
And certainly, there is a way with AR's writing that I simply love reading.

I've read "Interview With A Vampire." Great book, if a tad-bit over dramatic.

What kind of music are you into? Films?

My music taste ranges quite a bit..Mostly though, the genres are Industrial, Goth, Symphonic, Power Metal (however, the list of bands on my music playlist aren't a great deal). I also like listening to classical music, and any other songs that might catch the interest of my ears. All depends on what mood I'm in.

As for movies, that varies a bit too. I do like Action/Adventure, a bit of Thrillers and some Dramas. Now & then some chick flicks
For a better idea, some of my favourite movies are:
- Fight Club
- American Psycho
- Interview with the Vampire
- King Arthur
- Phantom of the Opera
- The Wedding Date
- Northanger Abbey
- The Bourne series
- The Hannibal series
- Terminator
- Battle Royale

The 2007 ITV release - that's the one :)

I haven't seen the older version, but I'm satisfied with just this one. I absolutely adore Henry Tilney in this, JJ pulls it off very well.

I haven't seen the old one either, but I totally agree with you. The new version is awesome, and JJ was amazing, not to mention a cutie.

Have you seen the other ITV movies? Persuasion and Mansfield Park? I didn't really like Mansfield Park, and Persuasion was pretty good. Rupert Penry Jones is certainly something nice to look at.

I do hope to watch a theater production JJ is in in London. The play is called Ring Around the Moon, and he plays two characters of which are twins with opposite personalities.

I have seen Persuasion, but not Mansfield Park (at least not the ITV production) And I agree, Rupert Penry Jones is good looking, but I didn't like the movie very much though -_- At times there were strange camera angles, and the last few scenes were a bit odd i.e the running from street to street and the kiss scene.

Ah Gawd, the last kiss scene was horrible. I can't stand to watch it. It was so awkward, and yucky.

I like the older version of Mansfield Park, I think it was made in 1999 or 2000 or something, not to true to the book I guess, but I like it much better than the new version that was released.

And then offcourse there is Pride and Prejudice. Which I like both versions. The mini series and the movie. Both are very good.

Well awesome, I thought I was the only one who watched Jane Austen movie adaptions here!

Hehe, nope you're not. It's only recently that I've come to appreciate Jane Austen's works. I've studied Pride & Prejudice during High School, studied Persuasion for A-levels, but I've never actually finished reading the novels. However, picking up Northanger Abbey and reading it for leisure, I actually finished it ^_^

You sound a lot like me except I'm into Michael Crichton instead of Anne Rice. I should read more of her stuff and might after I get through MC's last two books. The only one of hers I've read is Lasher. It's a very unique story and I couldn't put it down. I just had to find out what happened next.

Indeed, after I've re-read one of her novels I end up wanting to read another, despite already deciding to read a book haven't yet read

I haven't read the Mayfair series. Although, towards the end of the Vampire Chronicles, the two series did cross over, so perhaps in future I might pick up on it. I've just got a few other books at the moment that I haven't read. I seem to buy more books than I can read -_-
